What is it?
Resident Inspectors are a team of volunteers who work with Suffolk Housing and our Resident Scrutiny Panel to identify services to be reviewed, to find out what works well and what could be improved upon. This is done by visiting our estates, interviewing other residents on their experience and working with members of staff. The team will come together approximately every 3 months and carry out the agreed activities after that, which may take a few hours a week.
What is in it for me?
By working with other residents and staff members you will get a very good insight into Suffolk Housing. You will be trained to carry out your role, gaining skills that can be applied to other areas of your life. All the skills and experience gained is great for your CV.
Why do you need me?
We need residents as you are the ones that our service delivery impacts on. You will be trained for this role and work with other residents to shape those services that really do affect you.
