We build between 60 and 80 new affordable homes each year, this includes both rent and shared ownership housing.
We work closely with our development company Iceni Homes, which we jointly own with Colne Housing Society (Colchester) and Hundred Houses Society (Cambridge). Iceni Homes finds suitable land and properties within Suffolk, applies for grant funding from the Homes & Communities Agency to part-fund new developments and carries out the development of these sites through to the completion of new homes.
In 2001, we built the first new hemp homes in the UK and we continue to try to be innovative in some of the new homes we build.
