Suffolk Housing’s Grounds Maintenance Service
Suffolk Housing employs contractors to maintain the communal parts of its housing schemes. The grounds maintenance service contract expired on 31st March 2019 and over the past 9 months we have been working with residents to tender a new contract. Residents helped us to understand what works and what doesn’t, and how the service needed to be improved and we then undertook a formal tendering process.
We are pleased to report that following a successful bid, our existing contractor CGM Ltd has been appointed to deliver the new contract.
Suffolk Housing and CGM have been working together to improve performance in the current contract, and we have set high expectations for service delivery under the new contract. We have implemented a number of new management controls to ensure that all sites will receive a consistent service across all 158 schemes throughout the year.
