Repair times

There are four types of repair:

  • Emergency – carried out within 24 hours.

  • These repairs are required to avoid a danger to health, a risk to the safety of the property or serious damage to the building. For example, if there is a complete failure of the electricity supply.

  • Urgent – carried out within five working days.

  • These are repairs which substantially affect your comfort or convenience. For example, if you lose the supply of hot water to one of your taps.

  • Routine – carried out within 14 working days.

  • These include repairs such as replacing broken floor tiles.

  • Non-urgent routine – carried out within 28 working days.

  • These include repairs such as clearing gutters.
