There are four types of repair:
- Emergency – carried out within 24 hours.
These repairs are required to avoid a danger to health, a risk to the safety of the property or serious damage to the building. For example, if there is a complete failure of the electricity supply.
- Urgent – carried out within five working days.
These are repairs which substantially affect your comfort or convenience. For example, if you lose the supply of hot water to one of your taps.
- Routine – carried out within 14 working days.
These include repairs such as replacing broken floor tiles.
- Non-urgent routine – carried out within 28 working days.
These include repairs such as clearing gutters.
