Our housing policy

Suffolk Housing Society provides affordable homes for all people in housing need, whatever their racial or ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs or disabilities.

We provide properties for single people, individuals or couples with children, older people and people with mental or physical disabilities. We have sheltered housing schemes with warden assistance.

We operate 1,650 properties within a 40 mile radius of our headquarters in Bury St Edmunds, which means we have housing schemes in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Norfolk. We have an active programme of new developments.

We let properties on the basis of assisting those with the greastest housing need first
