From A14 west (Cambridge) or A14 east (Ipswich)
- follow the signs A134 SUDBURY off the A14. At first
roundabout (Rushbrooke) take second exit. At second
roundabout (Southgate Green) take third exit into Southgate
Street.
*Follow slight rise in road then turn right into St.
Botolph's Lane between a row of cottages set back behind
their front gardens and a big red-brick Georgian town
house. This is a narrow concealed turning. Follow one-way
system round sharp left bend until you see electricity
sub-station on the right and Suffolk Housing Society
on the left. Turn left in front of The Old Mission House
and the car park is at the rear.
From A134 Sudbury - coming into Bury along A134
Sicklesmere Road, you will see petrol station on your
right, take second exit off first roundabout (Southgate
Green) into Southgate Street and follow the route from
*as described in the paragraph above.
From Angel Hill (town centre) - Leave Angel
Hill with The Athenaeum on your right and the cathedral
on your left. Turn left at St. Mary's Church and keep
in the left hand lane (do not turn right into Sparkhawk
Street). Follow Honey Hill in a right hand bend into
Raingate Street, pass police station on left and continue
along Raingate Street which is narrow and two-way. Do
not turn right into Baker's Lane but continue for a
short distance and at Old Mission House, turn immediately
right to car park at rear.
