What is it?
A panel of our younger community members, up to school leavers age. Giving a voice to young people so they can let Suffolk Housing know what is important to them. Our young people are our future, and you can use this as an opportunity to tell us what you would like in your community, help us arrange events. Its also gives you the chance to meet other young people, share ideas and work together.
Why do you need me?
It is often said that you have nothing to do, or older people don’t really listen to you. Here is your opportunity to put that right. Suffolk Housing want young people to work with, so we are able to understand what you want. That’s why its you the young people we want to give a voice to.
What’s in it for me?
You get a voice, an ability to have different things put in place. Wouldn’t it be good to have been part of introducing something fun or exciting on your estate. New friends and new things to do is also on the list. Those who are looking for jobs or further education, having worked with Suffolk Housing you be able to use it as an example on your personal statement or CV.
If you would like to discuss this further please contact our Tenants Liason Officer: Martin Barnes-Smith on 01284 715391 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
