About us

Our history

Our board of management is responsible for making sure that the organisation is managed to the highest possible standards.

Our 12 current board members are all local people who come from a variety of backgrounds. They oversee the running of the business and decide on our overall strategy and policies, as well as monitoring how we are performing.

We’re always looking for new members to join our board and commitees.

The two main committees that support the board are:

The Finance & Audit Committee – this committee has wide-ranging financial responsibilities, ensuring that accurate budgets and business plan projections are produced and that adequate loans are available to meet the Society’s ongoing building programme.

The Operations Committee - this committee monitors key areas of operational performance against plans and targets.

In addition, our residents group Tenants Voice have full committee status and are the forum through which tenants' views and expectations are channelled on services which affect the general well being of our tenants, their homes, the environment and the communities in which they live.

Join us

We welcome enquiries from anyone who has an interest in our work and who has something to offer. This might be a skill or expertise relevant to our business, or simply enthusiasm. Board and committee members give an average of one day a month of their time, and we pay their travel expenses.
